The compressors have been fitted to a swing cradle to limit the in-train forces during the unloading process. 7 Mile 24th July 2006.

250-24428 viewsCape Lambert South Yard and Robe River's 9426 a Comeng WA rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-3 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania as #6332, Penn Central 6332 and finally Conrail 6782. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in November 1986. This loco also went on to become DR 8401 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Seen here in the South Yard dragging a loaded rake down to the car dumper as yard expansion works are underway to the left. 22nd October 2000.

Everything below the frame is ALCo, with the Comeng style flat fuel tank, while above is GE and Pilbara Cab. 22nd May 2002.
