On N2 is a radiator view of AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 unit 9412 serial G-6060-3 from December 1971 and originally numbered 262.003 during construction and then 1712. Behind it on N3 is the cab of 9416 also an AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 serial G-6046-16 from January 1973 and originally numbered 1716. Approximate location. 24th April 2004.

250-22429 viewsCape Lambert South Yard and Robe River's 9426 a Comeng WA rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-3 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania as #6332, Penn Central 6332 and finally Conrail 6782. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in November 1986. This loco also went on to become DR 8401 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Seen here in the South Yard dragging a loaded rake down to the car dumper as yard expansion works are underway to the left. 22nd October 2000.
