The T signifies that it is a Tunnel motor with a modified radiator intake to allow 'cool' running through the Sierra Nevada tunnels. And the 'M' with a lighting rod through it meant that it was a master unit for radio controlled helpers, used in the Tehachapi mountains. 27th of June 2004.

101-12712 viewsMaryborough, broad gauge V/Line VHJA type bogie gypsum waggon VHJA 10, the final member of 10 such waggons converted in 1984 from VHCA type waggons for use on the Cowangie gypsum traffic by Newport Workshops, originally built new as a J type hopper waggon by American Car and Foundry USA November 1925, recoded to CJ type in 1960 and VHCA in 1980. In 1993 a further fifteen were such converted.

213-17712 viewsWeipa, Lorim Point workshops, Comalco R 1001 loco Clyde Engineering built EMD model GT26C serial 72-752 sits at the fuel point, items of note are these units were setup to have the long hood leading, the second 'tropical roof' and the five chime horn cut into the nose. Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like you see on the GT26C models of WAGR L or VR C classes.
